Pastry Assistant:
- Determine production + ensure the accuracy, quality + consistency of pastries and all baked goods
- Manage inventory of food and supplies
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food
- Oversee and maintain safety and sanitary standards in production areas
- Responsible creation of all bread-related goods
- Ability to work in a team-driven environment, take direction, offer direction and assist with problem solving
- Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with co-workers and customers through effective, accurate, timely, and reliable communication and action
20-25 hours per week, must be available on Saturdays.
Barista:
- Keep a well maintained, clean and organized work space
- Ability to work in a team driven environment
- Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with co-workers and customers through effective, accurate, timely, and reliable communication and action
- Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload
- Interact effectively with guests + team members in a high volume production setting using positive body language, direct eye contact, active listening, problem solving techniques
- Stay up to date on latest drink, bread and pastry offerings
- Answer customer questions in a respectful manner, or seek an answer from someone who can!
- Answer phone calls and interact with customers with proper phone etiquette
- Execute coffee drinks from the current menu in a timely and presentable manner
15-25 hours per week, must be available at least two Saturdays a month
