classic smashed avocado toast with a bit of flair // avocado smash with preserved lemon + za’atar topped with a fried egg + sprinkled with flaky sea salt on pan fried oat porridge sourdough.
Slice your oat porridge sourdough 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick. Cut open a ripe avocado and scoop out the inside into a bowl. Squeeze half of a preserved lemon over the avocado and smash to your liking. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a 1/4 tbsp. of butter. Sear the sourdough on each side for 1-2 minutes. Remove sourdough from heat and set aside. In same pan fry one egg. Once finished assemble your toast. Spread smashed avocado over toast, add fried egg and then sprinkle on za'atar and maldon flaky sea salt. Slow down for a moment and enjoy every bite!
